Entry requirements

A First or 2.1 (hons) bachelor degree in any mathematical or highly numerate discipline where relevant subject areas have been studied.

If you hold a 2.2 (hons) bachelor degree in any mathematical discipline, we’ll consider your application if you have at least three years of relevant work experience in a professional environment.

If you hold a First or 2.1 (hons) bachelor degree in a non-mathematical discipline, we’ll consider your application if you have at least three years of relevant work experience in a related professional environment.

If you hold a 2.2 (hons) bachelor degree in a non-mathematical discipline with no relevant professional work experience, we’ll consider your application following completion of an admissions test or relevant credit-bearing foundation course in programming.

Exceptionally, we will also consider applications from professionally qualified and experienced candidates who do not meet the formal requirements.

International qualifications

English language requirements
All applicants will need to have GCSE English Language at grade C or above, or an appropriate English language qualification.

IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component. For other English qualifications, read English language equivalent qualifications. 

Where necessary, students will be expected to improve their English further during the course by making use of the online English tuition support that we provide.

Please complete the personal details form to begin your application to study on the Engineering Management MSc or Postgraduate Certificate course at the University of Leeds.

Once you have completed the form you will receive an email or call from our Admissions Team to schedule a consultation call with them to discuss your eligibility for the course. After the consultation call you will receive an email with a link to log into our application portal where you can upload your documents and fill in personal and contact details.

Course fees

Fees for 2023/24 academic year of entry (1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024):

Masters
UK/EU and International:
£15,500

Postgraduate Certificate*
UK/EU and International:
£6,000

You will have the option to pay your fees on a module-by-module basis, unless you are receiving a student loan or your fees are being paid directly to the University by your employer or sponsor. Our Enrolment Advisors are here to answer any queries you may have.

*A student loan is not available for the Postgraduate Certificate.
