Course details

We have a Masters (MA) course, incorporating three foundation modules, six development modules, plus a research project, to allow you to identify and develop in an area of interest. Alternatively, you can study the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), consisting of three foundation modules and one development module of your choice.

Both the MA and PGCert are taught at the same academic level and contain the same foundation modules: International Fashion Marketing and Creative Brand Management, Case Studies in Global Fashion and Sustainability, and Strategic Digital Marketing for Fashion.

If you understand the importance and complexities of sustainability and the fashion industry, this course gives you the skills and knowledge to access some of the top leadership roles.

Please note, modules are reviewed annually and may change in subsequent academic years. Postgraduate Certificate modules involve a smaller selection of those listed above and does not include the Research Project.

Fees and funding

MA

UK and International: £15,000

The fee is composed of:

  • nine taught modules (15 credits each): £1,415 per module.
  • project module fee (45 credits): £2,265.

UK students may be able to apply for a UK government-backed loan of up to £11,836 and there may be specific terms and conditions for online courses. 

The fee for the course can be paid on a module-by-module basis, unless you are receiving a student loan, or your fees are being paid directly to the University by your employer or sponsor.

PGCert

UK and International: £5,660

The fee is composed of:

  • four taught modules (15 credits each): £1,415 per module.

The fee for the course can be paid on a module-by-module basis, unless you are receiving a student loan, or your fees are being paid directly to the University by your employer or sponsor.

Entry requirements

A First or 2.1 (hons) Bachelor’s degree in any subject.

If you hold a 2.2 (hons) Bachelor’s degree in any subject, or professional qualifications equivalent to Bachelor with Honours/Masters we’ll consider your application for the MA course if you have at least three years of relevant work experience or for the PGCert course if you have at least two years of relevant work experience in a professional environment.

If you hold professional qualifications or Higher Education qualifications equivalent to Level 5, we’ll consider your application for the MA course if you have at least five years of relevant work experience or for the PGCert course if you have at least three years of relevant work experience in a professional environment.

Professionally qualified candidates who do not meet the formal qualifications will also be considered but assessed individually.

English language requirements

All applicants will need to have GCSE English language at grade C or above, or an appropriate English language qualification.

OR

IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component as stated in the current Taught Postgraduate Admissions Policy. For other English qualifications, read English language equivalent qualifications.

Where necessary, you will be expected to improve your English further during the course by making use of the online English tuition support we provide.
